We are a private family hiring caregivers and companions directly for a family member. We are not an agency and we do not sell care services. This notice explains what we do with the information you give us when you apply.
When you apply through our website, a Google Form, a Facebook or Instagram form, Indeed, or by email, we receive what you choose to share: your name, phone number, email, town, the roles that interest you, your availability, languages, driving status, work experience, references, and whether you are authorized to work in the United States.
We use your information only to consider you for a caregiving role: to read your application, contact you, arrange interviews and paid trial shifts, check references you provide, and, if we hire you, to set up employment and payroll. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Only the family members and the team lead involved in hiring. We use ordinary service providers to hold and move the information (Google for email and forms, Meta and Indeed for application forms, a payroll provider if you are hired), each under its own privacy terms.
Our website uses the Meta Pixel so we can see whether our job ads are reaching people and reduce spending on ads that do not work. This records that a browser visited the site or clicked the application button; it does not record anything you type. You can limit this through your browser settings and your Facebook ad preferences.
Applications we do not pursue are deleted within six months of the search ending. If you are hired, employment records are kept as Massachusetts and federal law require.
You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you gave us, or to withdraw your application. Write to nobscotcareteam@gmail.com and we will respond within a few days.
